The idea was a simple one: make arriving in a country the best and most welcoming experience at the airport, rather than its usual subterranean labyrinthine self. At Pearson Terminal 3, the existing AT corridor that has all passengers already circulating on the roof made the addition of a new floor seamless, while freeing up the existing ground floor to accommodate the client’s desire to enlarge and enhance the baggage claim hall in an otherwise full building.

The project went on indefinite hold during COVID-19.
